La Méridionale mixed ferries are designed to perform transport of dangerous goods in certain cases.
All transport of dangerous goods by our Company requires strict rules in terms of procedures in order to ensure the safety of our equipment and our passengers. These rules are dictated by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG code), specially designed for the sea transport of these products.
Any booking request must be made in writing, noting the designation of the product, the Class, the UN number and its packaging group. Our agreement will also be made in writing.

A duly completed DG Declaration Form for the transport of dangerous goods must be given to us on the morning of departure with the following details UN number, the class of product to be transported, as well as its packaging group and its technical data sheet, in order to warn the Port Authorities at the Ports of Departure and Arrival, as well as the CODIS (operational centre for firemen).
