The 1,805 km of relatively uninhabited crystal clear coastline offers great beaches for bathing and scuba-diving. The more mountainous centre of the island combines a beautiful variety of fauna and flora, as well as many endemic species.
Mount Limbara is the second highest peak in Sardinia. Its rocky slopes are covered with thick vegetation comprising, among other things, cork oaks, strawberry trees, heather, pine and fir trees, etc.
